The major project undertaken by The Queanbeyan Business Council in 2011 was the redevelopment of the Visitor Information website and production of a new Visit Queanbeyan Magazine.
The project was undertaken over a period of six months to allow time to reintroduce tourism related businesses to the online and print media approach.

On June 1 this year the new Visit Queanbeyan Magazine was relaunched at the Q.
The initiative to take the production back in house paid dividends with a new up sized 32 page gloss production.
The support of the accommodation industry really was the back bone being able to produce a quality production.
Featuring country drives, a wine trail and a much expanded context on our city and its regional towns we envisage the next edition will only go from strength to strength.

This was a big step into the latest online technology and an initiative that will not need to be addressed again in the future.
The website was build on the latest online platform to assure that it stays up with online trends and image in the future.
A key component to the system is it ability to database all content, business contacts and events.
